Adjustments: When you get Dentures from us, our adjustments are free.
To apply adhesive:
Upper Dentures or Partials -
- Clean and dry denture or partial (the dryer the better for maximum retention)
- Draw a circle with the adhesive about the size of a nickel or a dime.
- With a dry finger, smear the adhesive all over the surface of the inside of the denture.
- Splash the denture or partial with water to get the adhesive activated.
- Place and hold in mouth for a few seconds.
Lower Dentures or Partials -
- Clean and dry the lower denture or partial (the dryer the better for maximum retention)
- On the inside of the denture, place a drop of adhesive about halfway between the heel to the center on both sides and in the center of the front of the denture.
- With a dry finger, spread the adhesive throughout the inside of your lower denture or partial so it completely covers the area your denture sits on your gums.
- Splash the area with water to activate the adhesive and place and hold in mouth for a few seconds.
We do our adjustments on a walk-in basis from Mon-Thurs. from 7:30 to 10 a.m.
There is no charge for this service if you are within your 1 year window after getting your dentures here. But we do ask that you bring a can or two of food because we donate them each month to the 2nd Harvest Food Bank in Tallahassee.
